Affiliated Gymnastics Clubs can submit to have their club workshops and staff meetings sanctioned for updating points to encourage and promote professional development of their coaches and judges. To have your club workshop sanctioned, please complete the form below and GV will send you a sign in sheet prior to the event. Please return completed sign in sheets to education@gymvic.org.au. Please ensure coaches provide their Technical Member ID on the sign in sheet to ensure they receive their updating points.

GV sanctioned club workshops will receive 1 updating point per 2 hours as per Gymnastics Australia's Updating Policy. If the person delivering your workshop is a qualified presenter and assessor with Gymnastics Australia, then the workshop is worth 1 point per hour. If running a staff meeting, there must be a workshop that runs for at least 1 hour included in order to be sanctioned.

If your workshop is covering specific topics related to coaching, that don't fall within the scope of your Gymnastics Australia Coaching / Judging accreditation it must be delivered by a qualified professional. For example, workshops discussing mental health must be delivered by a qualified professional in that field.

 

You can choose if you wish Gymnastics Victoria to advertise your workshop on the StudyGym website.
